Our Journey & Story

From humble beginnings to a thriving community organization

2010

Foundation

AoHO was founded by a group of dedicated community leaders who recognized the need for a unified Hindu organization in the UK.

2012

First Major Festival

Successfully organized our first large-scale Diwali celebration, bringing together over 500 families from across the region.

2015

Youth Programme Launch

Established comprehensive youth education programmes focusing on language, values and cultural identity building.

2018

Community Centre Opening

Opened our first dedicated community centre providing a permanent home for religious, cultural and social activities.

2020

Digital Transformation

Adapted to pandemic challenges by launching online programmes, virtual events and digital community support.

Growing Strong

Serving over 10,000 families with 250+ annual events and a network of 300+ dedicated volunteers across the UK.
